If I had been flying any other drone I might well have clipped the top of that tree.DJI's challenge avoidance is functional, however I never ever rely on it, it's more there as "insurance." Increased by this flight, I tried something else-- flying amongst the trees below the rocks.

I like how simple it is to establish and get flying, and the excellent tracking and challenge avoidance actually do open shots that, for me, would otherwise be difficult.
This configuration would cost you $1,250, which is still way more affordable than a Mavic 2 Pro and it can even do plenty that the DJI flagship can not.
